I’d like to invite you to follow my adventures as a “fifty-ish” baby boomer…I’m passionate about people, travel, nature, and photography! I’ve been fortunate to experience some amazing adventures… hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, sleeping in the Jordan desert, spending the night on the Nile River, traveling down the Mekong River, skydiving….and lots more to share! My latest adventure was traveling overland camping through six countries in Africa!
I’m a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army for four years, stationed in Germany for the majority of that time. I have my B.A. in Business from University of Texas at Dallas and had a career in the hospitality industry as a Catering and Sales Manager. I have a 25-year-old son on his own (mostly…at least not living with me)!
I’ve gone through many of life’s hurdles and have faced most of my fears. I hope to inspire people to take care of and empower themselves…through travel, photography, sports, hobbies…and to see the beauty that surrounds us!
I’m currently looking for employment…so if you have any projects you need help with…Travel or Event Planning, Photography, Writing, Organization—I’m a Jack of all Trades!
Remember…don’t take yourself or life too seriously! Some parting photos…I like to pick up people. It started on my 1st honeymoon in Cancun in 1987…
Your visits are my reward.

Great photos, very interesting!
David
PS thanks for popping in to http://ja2da.com – I’m afraid the travelling on my blog was confined to the two or three square miles I walk round with the dog most days. No zip slides, camels or jogging!
Thanks! When you can read and see photos from all of the other travels…who needs to go very far. I’m sure you’ve traveled a lot through the years?
If I stop to think about it – I probably have. I spent my youth in Africa travelled round a bit there then later when my girls were in their early teens we did a round the world trip – to sort of show them round, you know.
See…I knew it! Sounds amazing!
A LOT OF PLEASURE!Very beautiful!
