Over the Rhine is amazing! Talk about an area of Cincinnati that has been revitalized! Just in the past year or two…so much progress has been made in turning this area into a fun, safe, historic and beautiful section of Cincinnati to visit. My girlfriend Gina and I arrived early Friday evening to walk around and enjoy the sunshine, along with warmer (50’s) temperatures. The architecture is beyond cool!
You’ll find a diversified mix of people, cuisine, shops, and music….
Of course I had to capture some of the street art…
This is a bar called “Neons”. I used to come here back in the 90’s. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
I have a “lust” affair with areas/buildings that exude sex appeal…colorfulness….liveliness and are playful!
Can you say beautiful!
I spotted this barbershop and I LOVE to photograph barbershops. They have such an ambiance and character unique to their particular setting! When I first entered this shop, the employees were so welcoming!
While standing, talking to them, I noticed my friend Gina waiting outside. The lighting and colorful window painting appeared so creative…
Tomorrow, we visit a bar in Over the Rhine that is spectacular!

Great gallery, I don’t really know what to say … the same greatness in every post you do, my pick is the street with the different colored houses.

That looks very cool. It is nice to see urban renewal projects. They have done a similar thing in Oklahoma City and built the basketball stadium where the NBA’s Thunder play. It is nice to see things like this.

You have SO much fun in Cincinnati, it’s almost illegal! I love that barbershop, too — and the street scene with the trompe l’oeil mural of the telephone pole is great!!!

Love the painted buildings, wish our town, with what few buildings remain, would do something like that.
