Western & Southern Open Fashion Show

The Western and Southern Open Fashion Show, sponsored by Cincy Chic, was a fun event to photograph for Cincinnati Refined!  I continue to have “firsts” as I work assignments for Cincinnati Refined as I’ve never photographed a fashion show before.  A couple of the models were definitely uncomfortable and insecure and it showed, but I think it’s important to push ourselves to do things that we’re not comfortable with, so we grow and develop our skills and potential to their fullest!

These three models were my favorites.  They were elegant, comfortable in their skin and weren’t afraid of struttin’ their stuff!

Cammie Dierking, a news anchor for Cincinnati’s Channel 12, was the emcee of the event and interviewed a couple of tennis pros, including Fabio Fogini and Taylor Townsend at the event.

Tomorrow will be another first…photographing The Galloping Pig event, held by the Cincinnati Polo Club.  Should be fun!

  1. Great photos. Well done. I know it’s not easy. I have taken photos at a couple of charity fashion shows in quite small venues. I found it difficult to find a good location from which to shoot without other people getting in the way.
