Model Studio Photography Shoot

I recently had an opportunity to take photographs of a model in a studio setting with lights, etc.  Being my first time, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  When I arrived, there were other photographers there and since I’m not shy, I took a spot near the center to take some shots.  It was a bit confined because if you shot at an upward angle, there was an ugly drop ceiling to contend with and if you were too far to one side or the other, the backdrop disappeared.  I had to stand back quite a ways, so as not to get in the way of others, and with the strobe lighting, it was difficult to get really sharp images.  Here are some of my favorites…

I like the look on her face here…

There was a fan blowing, so her hair is in her face in many of the photos.

It was good practice!  I’ve got two jobs with iSPYCINCY this week, so I’m excited!

  2. Great work … Sherry, you have done an excellent job … but I’m sorry to say .. I’m not too keen on the model. There is nothing in her eyes … empty and make up is not great and also it has a bit of men’s magazine model over her. Hope I don’t upset you. She isn’t the right model for job.

  3. Sherry have you contributed to any stock photo sites? Shutterstock and istock are two sites that give loads of information about what they want from contributors.
