Nicholson’s Pub–Cincinnati’s First and Finest Gastropub Celebrates Robert Burns Night

Monday evening I took photographs at Nicholson’s Pub  in Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio for an event called “Robert Burns night“.  After Googling it, I discovered it’s to celebrate the life and work of the late Scottish poet, Robert Burns.  You know, the one that wrote “Auld Lang Syne“.  Also, if you’re wondering, a Gastropub is a bar/restaurant that serves high-end beer and food.

The band was in full swing when I arrived…

The beer was flowing…

The lasses were dancing…

The waiters were stylin’ in Kilts

And the Bag pipes were blowing…

The Scottish sure know how to party!  Even when the temperature is below zero outside.  I’ll bet the guys in Kilts weren’t used to having cold air blow up their skirts!
