Upon arrival to our hotel, the Springhill Suites by Marriott on Court Street, we were checked in by this gregarious registration clerk named Kevin. I think I asked him if he knew what the weather forecast was for the next few days and he showed me his phone. He reminds me of a commercial…

I love mirrored furniture…probably because I love reflections…
Although Cindy and I were anxious to have a drink and toast to our arrival, she waited patiently while I took a few photos of the room…
We brought salad, fruit and I made homemade minestrone soup for the trip…knowing that we would have a refrigerator and microwave.

In the past road trips weren’t really my thing. I think because I was more intent on the destination than the journey!
