My good friend–Sherry–came to visit for 5 days. Today, we started our day with a bicycle ride. In addition to riding along the avenues, I took her to the abandoned golf course next to the condos. It felt like we were entering an overgrown “enchanted forest”!
We’ve known each other for over 40 years!
We packed a lunch and I drove us to Fort Myers beach. I was told to check out the Pink Shell Beach Resort, so we parked in their lot, pretended to be a guest, and walked through the pool area to the beach.
I asked Sherry to model for me…
I like the beach art…
Sherry captured a great action shot of me playing volleyball. When we arrived to the beach, I noticed two girls on one side of the net and two guys and a woman on the other side, so I was quite certain they would welcome the help. They were a family, Mom with her grown children. I joined the two girls and we won!!
Sherry looks really pretty in this picture…plus you can see me…woo hoo!!
We stopped at The Beached Whale for a drink and this was our view from the 2nd floor deck…
I snapped a pic of the inside before we left…
We’re headed out dancing tonight! Watch out!!

God, I almost hate to think what trouble you 2 would cause after you’ve had a couple of drinks! Then again, you might be hell of a lot of fun! Please keep the pictures coming! They’re 1 of the few bright spots of my day!
