I love snow! So…today was a special treat in Cincinnati! Being surrounded by acres and acres of trees provides a winter wonderland to take photographs! I didn’t even notice the cold…standing outside in my house slippers…taking delight in the beauty!
I tried a few new settings on my camera and was pleased with the result. It started sleeting this morning, and turned to snow later today. I was so blessed not to have to drive in it!
“The snow began to fall again, drifting against the windows, politely begging entrance and then falling with disappointment to the ground” ~Jamie McGuire, Beautiful Disaster
“A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees.” ~William Blake
“The first snow is like the first love. Do you remember your first snow?” ~Lara Biyuts
“There is in every true woman’s heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” ~Washington Irving
Staying warm by the fire…filled with gratitude! xoxoxo

I love snow in the country, but not in the city… Beautiful!
Let it snow!!
You know at first it was a bit disappointing, then again i often am, living in an area with about a 10% chance historically of snow on christmas. But after this decent fall.. its not SO bad for it to be a day late is it? lovely snapshots of what an ohio christmas can really look like.
Yes…a day late…but beautiful. We’re getting more snow tonight!
So beautiful photos. I love to see Your fire place – very nice. Is it so called heat-storing fireplace which we use in Finland generally!
Ours is called a “buck stove”.
Luckily you have snow up there, contrary to us down here in southern Texas.
best regards, and a Happy New Year,
Pit
Yes…but you have warmer temps. Seems there is always something to gain or lose in life.
Yep, there is!
Beautiful Again!!!
Thank you Keith. I hope you’re doing well!
Snow is like friendship it softens everything it falls on. Love photos – we had snow storm days up to Christmas, but now it’s all gone – rained away.
I love the way you expressed that!
I can’t take the credit for that … borrowed words, but I think they are so lovely.
Looks like paradise to me! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a very Happy New Year!
