iMovie…Thailand Elephants

Yesterday, I spent hours taking the footage I shot from my trip to Thailand, Laos & Vietnam back in December 09`, and making videos using iMovie on my new Mac computer.  It was fun to learn something new and to use my creativity searching for songs that seemed to go with each video.

First, I had to download a free software program called MPEG Streamclip to convert my MPEG videos from my Canon F200 camcorder to a version that iMovie accepts.  Then, I had to purchase  a $20 software program called “Quicktime MPEG2″ from Apple to make it work.  Next, I had to download it to You Tube, which I’ve never done, and then load it here.  And they say when you’re over 50 and female…you’re technically challenged…I don’t think so!

The videos aren’t perfect, but I’m learning!  Here’s one of them…

Hope you enj0yed…they’ll be more to come!
